JENARBY

My name is Jen, aka "jenarby." I've been a memeber of Exracerssince the board opened up years ago. As a huge fan of thoroughbreds in general, I've enjoyed meeting new friends and sharing stories on this fabulous bulletin board. I currently own two OTTBS, a gelding named "Spider Murphy" and a mare named "Tipping." My family trains and races thoroughbreds at several tracks and I enjoy dabbling in a little bit of resale after they retire from racing. I've sold horses for trainers and hooked people up with new prospects for the last 12 years and have enjoyed meeting people all over the country as I've made new connections in several disciplines. I've been riding since age 8, starting out in the hunter ring. As my interests shifted Eventing has been my real passion though I've not been fortunate to show very much. A few injruies and many young, green horses have made the road to the show ring a bit difficult. After selling Spider Murphy two years ago as a resale project, I was fortunate to become his owner once again this past April. I'm hoping that we can team up and start a long and fun career going to local horse trials and eventually makle a recognized debut by this fall. T ipping is a mare we raced for 3 years who stole all of our hearts here on the farm. Her sweet nature and lovely way of going have really proven to make her quite a versitile member of our farm. I've had the opportunity to take her to several hunter paces and local shows where she always shows how classy of a girl she is.

All in all I really enjoy where I am in life....my family, my horses and my job......and of course my favorite online community!

Our purpose is to promote awareness of retraining Exracers 
into new careers after their racing days are over.

Most of the action takes place in our forums, where we discuss training tips and questions, as well as non-exracer topics. You don't have to own an exracer to join in the discussion. Anyone is welcome!
